    This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting ticket sales for the six-week, Pre-Broadway engagement of the GEORGE AXELROD and PETER VIERTEL play "SOUVENIR" at the Shubert Theatre in Los Angeles (Century City), California beginning October 21st, 1975. (The production actually played only two weeks, opening October 29th, 1975 at the Shubert Theatre in Century City and closing there on November 9th, 1975 cancelling the remaining performances and all future engagements. The play never arrived in Boston or New York.) ..... The play starred DEBORAH KERR and TONY MUSANTE and featured LAURENCE HUGO ..... This single page, two-sided handbill measures 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" inches and includes a photo of Deborah Kerr, production credits, performance dates and ticket prices on the front and promotional text and a ticket order form on the backside ..... CONDITION: With the exception of slight discoloration along the top edge, this rare handbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
