Vintage Blue Wool GLENGARRY Hat:
Navy blue wool Scottish cap with straight sides and a crease along the top from front to back featuring a red pompom on top. Trimmed with black ribbon, black bow and black tails. Worn by the Highlanders as part of Military dress possibly 1950s.
The cap also features a wonderfully detailed World War II British cap badge "pin" from the Highland Light Infantry division. Active 1881 - 1959. Marked Assaye and it depicts a crown, horn, Elephant, and insignia of the division.

CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. Top of the hat shows some defects in wool (see pictures). Badge pin shows some wear and the ribbon bow behind the pin has slight fraying on the edge.
