from the Original Broadway production of the KYLE CRICHTON comedy "THE HAPPIEST MILLIONAIRE" at the Lyceum Theatre in New York City. (The production opened November 20th, 1956 and ran for 271 performances.) ..... One of the photos features

The play starred WALTER PIDGEON and featured DIANA VAN DER VLIS, GEORGE GRIZZARD, RUTH WHITE, KATHARINE RAHT, LOU NOVA, MARTIN ASHE, RUTH MATTESON, KATE HARRINGTON, DON BRITTON, ROCCO BUFANO, DANA WHITE, JOE BISHOP, GAYE JORDAN and MARK ALLEN ..... DETAILS: The first photo measures 10" X 8 1/8" inches, has only a margin at the top and includes a caption strip and is stamped FRIEDMAN-ABELES, New York City on the backside (second scanned image). The photo of WALTER PIDGEON measures 8 1/8" X 10" inches and includes a caption strip on the backside, but no photo credit (fourth scanned image) ..... CONDITION: (Please Note!) The first photo shows just light edge wear, but the second photo has three tears that were repaired on the backside and the tape has yellowed. Despite this flaw, this set will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
